Our Story

Born from a love of coffee & cats

Nine Lives Roast was founded in late 2025. A passion project started with specialty coffee and a deep love for cats (especially mine), which is why they're all over the logo.

We partner with a local Amsterdam roaster to source beans ethically from Peru, Colombia, and Brazil, and roast them through CO₂-neutral processes. The result is delicious, sustainable coffee that doesn't ask you to compromise on either.

Running as a solo eenmanszaak keeps things small and personal: every bag that reaches you has been thought about, not just processed.

A medium roast from Finca Churupampa in Cajamarca. Full-bodied, intense and richly layered: you will taste dark chocolate, cacao powder and a hint of dried berries. Washed and double fermented for a clean, structured profile.

A light roast that brings together Capricornio (Brazil), Churupampa (Peru) and Argote (Colombia). Bright and balanced with chocolate, dried berries and a caramel sweetness that lingers. All three origins roasted separately and assembled into one.
